Great question! I discovered that my three initials are shared with two radio stations and one airport. WWEM-FM (91.7) serves the Lynchburg, VA area; KWEM-AM (990) in West Memphis, AR and Memphis, TN calls itself “the radio station that started rock and roll” (apparently with at least some justification); and WEM is the airport code for West Mailing Airport in the United Kingdom!
Although the fact that it is it is only seven feet above sea level means climate change will probably take care of its extinction soon, and a main runway of less than 4000 feet would give me a little pause in anything with more than one engine…

I’ll be darned..there is a radio station WMEA:
I am relieved beyond words that it has the good grace and sense to be an NPR station.

…and an airport not too far outside of Rio de Janeiro…

Whee! I found my initials incorporated in two radio stations and an airport to boot! I like this game!
