UCLA, USC game times announced, and a note about Shelton

COUGARS

FROM PULLMAN — We have some scheduling news for you, plus a note about D.J. Shelton's citation over the weekend.

First, the scheduling. The Pac-12 has released game times for the final week of the regular season, and as of now, WSU will play at UCLA at 7:30 p.m. next Thursday, and at USC at 3 p.m. the following Saturday. Though it sounds as if the UCLA time is still tentative, and could change if they're able to get the game televised. … About D.J. Shelton — he was cited and released early Sunday morning for driving with a suspended California driver's license (DWLS III), according to Sgt. Dan Dornes of the Pullman Police Department. Shelton was pulled over after an officer noticed he hadn't cleared the snow off his windows, and therefore had limited visibility. A passenger with Shelton was permitted to drive the car home. A DWLS III charge is the least serious of the three levels of driving with a suspended license, and it's unclear why Shelton's license was suspended — with a DWLS III, it could be as simple as a failure to respond to traffic tickets. A WSU spokesman said coaches are aware of the police report and will take appropriate action if it is deemed necessary.

Glad to know that crack Pullman police force is on the job.

At times I just have to “laugh” at what this society considers bad behavior, a crime and worthy of police effort. And I am a staunch Conservative!!

I suspect that the population of Pullman suffered a decline over the President’s Day Weekend and with snow in the air and on the ground…a player’s car was an easy target….AND YES, I GET THAT HE COULD BE IN DANGER OR CAUSE DANGER OF NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE ALL THAT WELL OF HAVING A CAR ACCIDENT.

Either that or the Pullman Police are overstaffed…and overpaid…and in need of revenue!!

I don’t know…so many other things are more important than this!!

I guess coaches had better start checking driver’s licenses, social security cards, library cards, health insurance cards, dates on credit and debit cards, food and cafeteria cards…Holy Crap!!

    GO COUGS!!
