Stevens County officials scoured the area around Flodelle Creek Campground on Saturday searching for a girl missing since Friday afternoon.

Paige Wilson, 8, was last seen at the campground, where she’d been staying with her family, at 4 or 4:30 p.m. Friday. She was reported missing at 7:33 p.m.

She is described as 4 feet tall, 50 to 60 pounds with a slight build, medium-length dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a light blue shirt that reads “Someone in Hawaii loves me” in pink lettering, pink shorts and pink and white Nike tennis shoes.

Flodelle Creek Campground is about 19 miles east of Colville, near the Little Pend Oreille River.

Anyone who may have seen her is asked to call the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office at (509) 684-2555 or (800)572-0947.

Dear Lord, I pray that you will be this beautiful angel and her family. Please keep her safe in your arms until she is back safe with her family.

I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Another news source has reported that the little girl was found, alive…good news, indeed!

Little Paige was located alive and reasonably well, given her ordeal, about 9:30 this morning (Thank God!). My source? Spokeman-Review’s sister, KHQ. While KHQ “scooped” all the other news sources in town, KREM and KXLY have since published detailed updates.
