  Jared honorably served as a United States Marine in Iraq putting his life closely at risk. He has a beautiful wife and family. His life has hardly been boring enough for him to want to come home and grope some drunken not so lovely woman. Also, he is highly intelligent, he surely wouldn’t march her in front of a video camera to do it. It is the officers job to make sure that the person they are detaining has no concealed razors, knives or anything that they could use to hurt themselves or the officers while being transported. There probably wasn’t a female officer anywhere near them, they were hardly at the police station. Of course she was upset at being arrested and being drunk acted accordingly.
  She should have just stood still and it wouldn’t have been anything. He put gloves on not took them off.
  If you don’t want to be searched, don’t break the law. Cindy Bekham, if the officers hadn’t stopped her and she would have driven into one of your relatives and killed them, you would be whining a different tune.

  Anne1954 im pretty certain youre not so lovely yourself. And your boy jared should have waited for a female officer no matter what. He knew what he was doing and that a male searching a female was totally against police procedure. Id love to see how you react when youre pulled over and the same thing is done to you i have a feeling your perspective would be alot different . And jared obviously isnt very intellegent for doing that in front of his own cam because that has given that girl a solid case. And for you to use fear by suggesting that girl would have killed someone elses relative shows how ignorant and corrupt you are as well. And do you really believe that it is ok for the people that are supposed to be upholding the law to break it because they dont feel like waiting around and ill bet you jared was just anxious to bust someone else because he knew he was wasting his time on someone who only had half a glass of wine

  Normally when I watch dash cam footage I’m rooting for the civillian because generally the abuse is horriffic and unjustified. I’ve seen cameras shut off, only to have it come on with a woman laying in a pool of her own blood. I’ve seen mothers fathers and grandfathers tazed in front of their children and grand children. I’ve seen ego driven cops pull over ambulances and detain drivers for not yielding propery and EVERY TIME. I side with the civilian.

  Except this one.

  In my mind this officer is looking out for the well being of himself and his other officers. He was doing his job. There is no excessive touching, no unprofessional comments, nothing but business.

  You have to understand from the officers perspective, her resistance and body language can easily be interpreted as “I have something I don’t want you to find”. That something could be as silly as some pot or as serious as a small caliber hand gun.

  In this instance, this girl was looking for a way out the moment she couldn’t make a phone call on the spot.

  You don’t want a strange man having to feel your body for drugs or weapons? Don’t drink and drive. Self entitled daddy’s girl looking for a get-out-of-jail-free card if you ask me.

  And to Ryan Stewart or Cindy Beckham or whoever you are, it’s because of people like you we live in a country where police, Firemen, EMT’s and Doctors are afraid to help people because they don’t want to be sued. You make me sick.
